Prof. Dr. Akansha Srivastava who is currently working as an Associate Professor (Post-Graduation Classes) at Sharda University, Greater Noida, has a remarkable 13 years of teaching experience. Her contribution to the education industry has truly been noteworthy. When the world was facing the fatal effects of the novel covid-19 virus, Dr. Srivastava played a vital role in spreading awareness of the impact of the covid virus on the marginalized population of the society and economy.

Dr. Srivastava’s incessant efforts toward the growth and development of society were not just confined to the covid period, she came up with some unrecognized topics post-covid. Her diligent work on redefining teacher education and preparation programs in the post-covid era has been noteworthy. Her veracious approach to the education sector stands as an inspiration to loads of educationalists who desire to bring a change to society.

Having a forte in both academic and practical fields of education, Dr. Srivastava has been very agile in promoting the new education policy i.e. National Educational Policy (NEP) 2020, initiated by the government on 29 July 2020. She has truly been a true leader as she made people know the role of teachers under NEP 2020, by publishing a book named ‘National Education Policy (NEP), 2020 and the Role of Teachers.
