Respected Prof. Dr Santosh Rane presently working as Dean of Academics in SPCE, Mumbai. He had also worked as chairman of the Exam Committee, Chairman of the Website Committee, Chairman of Startup Cell SPCE, PhD. Programme Coordinator for Mech. Engg, Faculty Adv. of SPCE Racing Team, Faculty Adv. of the IIIE-SPCE student chapter. Prof Rane has completed his M.Tech and PhD from VJTI, Mumbai. He is a Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma from Indian Statistical Institute and has also terminated SCM Exe from CII and PGC program in Adv. Project Management from SPJIMR, Mumbai. Having a versatile experience of 29 years.

He guided more than 300 Business Excellence projects. Along with the feast mentioned above. Prof. Rane completed more than 105 publications and more than 940 Google Scholar citations on his credit (H10 index 22, H index-16). He also filed ten patents (Filed eight patents, granted patents 2) and successfully guided 5 PhD and 23 MTech Scholars.

He is a recipient of 9 awards including the National Productivity Award Platinum Grade, and Best Paper Awards. Prof. Rane was invited to various prestigious events and programs for expert talks. He had conducted 60 sessions in Faculty Development Programmes at various institutions, including SVNIT Surat, MNIT Jaipur, VJTI Mumbai, and COE Pune. He also conducted 63 sessions for students from esteemed institutions, including SPJIMR-Mumbai, SVNIT-Surat, VJTI, and Mumbai. Prof. Rane was on the jury for the process Improvement PI award at L&T. Expert speaker by Swinburne University Malaysia to deliver an expert talk on unlocking the industrial potential of digital twins.

Prof. Rane Expert speaker to conduct a session in European Commission approved Erasmus+ Project Central of capacity building and exchange towards attaining technological research and modernising academic learning in European Universities to conduct a session on Exploring Block-Chain Potentials to Transform Business Operations 8th July 2021, 

Prof. Rane was a reviewer of Scopus indexed Journals of Elsevier, Taylor and Francis Emerald group where he reviewed more than 25 research articles and organised 12 National Level events which include a symposium, Conclave, workshops, STTP, seminars and worked as Adv. Committee member and key-note speaker for Int. conferences. He is also Editorial Board Member for Int. Journal of Supply Chain and inventory management, Inderscience publishers and member of many professional bodies like SAE, IIIE, ISTE, ISNT, IET.
