Respected Prof. Dr Sayalee Gankar has 32 years of experience. She is working as Vice-Chancellor at D Y Patil University Pune.

She has experience as Dean – of  Management (PG), Dean – Of academics and Director of two business schools at MIT, Pune.She is a research guide, and eight research students have completed doctoral programmes under her guidance and worked as Academic Council Member, Board of Studies-Chairman and members at Savitribai Phule Pune University, JKLU SIU and NIBM. Her areas of expertise are Strategic Planning, institution building, Academic Programming & Planning, Developing Policies & procedures, Syllabus Framework, Research, Consultancy, Industry Collaborations, Rankings and Accreditation. She has delivered plenary Academic & Research sessions in Paris, Poland, Dubai, Bhutan, and over 130 Research Publications at the National and International levels are to her credit. She was solicited for International Conferences and attended International Conferences in the UK, Washington, USA and Paris.Several Professional Bodies nominated her as chairman and member, including WICCI, Association of Indian Teachers, MCCIA, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, CSR Advisory Board of SKF India Limited, and World Academic Federation Qognify Labs and many more.She is the recipient of the Goldman Sachs Scholarship: Goldman Sachs in partnership with London Business School, Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, Stanford Technology Ventures Programme, NEN.  Award is received like National Award as “Best Trainer Motivator'' by EDI, Ahmedabad,“APJ Kalam – Leadership Award” by FUEL, “Dronacharya Award” for Outstanding Contribution to Education by The HR Club, “Mother Teresa Shiksha Ratna Award” by International Business Council. Received ‘The late Yamunatai Kirloskar’, “Shikshak Gaurav Puraskar” by Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), "Think Pure Award 2015" for the contribution to Education and Entrepreneurship organised by P N Gadgil, The Crest of Honor by NSE, MCCIA, NSL and CSI.  She has received the Ideal Teacher Award from World Peace Center, UNESCO, ALANDI, PUNE, INDIA.
