Aapki Beti 2025: Easy Registration for Girl Scholars

Aapki Beti 2025: Easy Registration for Girl Scholars

The state of Rajasthan has once again rolled out its flagship initiative, “Aapki Beti Yojana 2025”, aiming to support the education of underprivileged girls from Class 1 to 12. Under this scheme, girl students from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families or those who are orphans or belong to single-parent households  studying in government schools can receive annual financial assistance.

Eligibility under the scheme is straightforward. The girl must be a permanent resident of Rajasthan, enrolled in a government school between Class 1 and 12, and her family must either be BPL, or she should be orphaned or from a single-parent home.

For those who qualify, the benefits are modest but meaningful: Rs 2,100 per year for classes 1 to 8, and Rs 2,500 per year for classes 9 to 12. The amount is directly transferred to the bank account of the girl or her guardian through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer), ensuring transparency and reducing delays.

Applying is simple. Candidates or their guardians must visit the official ShalaDarpan portal, register, and fill out the application form online. Along with basic personal details, applicants must upload scanned copies of required documents, such as Aadhaar card, proof of residence/domicile, BPL certificate or income certificate, bank account passbook, and school enrollment certificate. Schools typically forward these applications to the district authorities.

The official deadline for schools to update the data on the portal is 25 November 2025, and district-level verification must be completed by 30 November, ensuring that eligible girls receive timely assistance for the upcoming academic session.

Beyond the financial aid, the real value of “Aapki Beti Yojana” lies in its goal: to encourage families to keep their daughters in school, and to ease the burden of education costs so poverty doesn’t become a barrier. For many underprivileged girls, this support can make the difference between continuing school and dropping out.

If your child qualifies, it’s a chance worth grabbing especially as applications are still open. This scheme could be a step toward ensuring that every girl in Rajasthan has the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a better future.
