The prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has opened applications for its January 2026 session of Junior Residents. 

If you’ve completed your MBBS or BDS (including internship) between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2025, you’re eligible. The position falls under Level 10 of the pay matrix (pre-revised Band-3), offering a monthly starting pay of ₹56,100 plus applicable allowances a significant incentive for fresh graduates. 

Applications must be submitted online by 5:00 PM on December 19, 2025. Candidates should also ensure they have valid DMC/DDC registration, and note that only those who haven’t already done three terms of Junior Residency (anywhere) are eligible. 

The selection process gives first preference to AIIMS-New Delhi MBBS graduates, ranked on their aggregate marks across first, second and final professional exams. Remaining posts will be offered to other candidates, based on their rank in the INI-CET PG Entrance Exam (if they appeared), or otherwise on merit.
