CAT 2025 Approaches: Admit Card Out Time to Prepare!

The much-awaited CAT 2025 is now just around the corner, scheduled for 30 November across three sessions under the leadership of IIM Kozhikode. Aspirants can breathe a sigh of relief as their admit cards have already been released on the official portal an essential step completed.

The exam will be conducted in nearly 170 cities, offering wide reach across the country. The format remains challenging yet structured: for non PwD candidates, a two-hour timeframe split into three 40-minute sections Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA). Candidates with disability status will receive an extra 40 minutes.

In a proactive move, a mock test link has been made available on the CAT website. This allows candidates to familiarise themselves with the interface and timing, although the mock’s structure may not exactly mirror the real test. It’s a valuable warm-up tool: use it to navigate through sections, submit answers, and assess your stamina for the full day.

With just days left, experts urge aspirants to shift focus from breadth to polish. Revision and timed practice should now take precedence. For DILR in particular, speed and accuracy are critical analysing how many questions you can complete within 40 minutes is key. Reviewing past year papers will reveal patterns and familiarise you with question types.

Another pragmatic tip: keep a watch on common error-areas. If you find recurring mistakes in QA or DILR, address them now rather than trying entirely new topics. Time is limited, so enhance your comfort with familiar areas. Also, get rest, maintain your health, and ensure you have the logistics sorted admit card, ID proof, travel to centre etc.

In short: CAT 2025 is imminent. With the admit card in hand, the mock test completed, and targeted preparation underway, it’s full throttle now. Stay calm, focused, and ready to perform on the big day. Good luck to all aspirants!
