Government Enforces Zero-Tolerance for Student Safety in Schools
In a serious address given during the Lok Sabha Question Hour on 18 August 2025, Minister of State for Education Jayant Chaudhary reiterated the government's unwavering commitment to student security in schools. He gave a clear message that there will be no compromise on the safety of our children Zero tolerance is the standard.
Chaudhary said that the Ministry of Education regularly issues guidelines to states, union territories and school boards, so that the security protocols always remain updated, relevant and effective. He also highlighted a recent initiative - a letter has been sent to all the states and union territories, urging the students to further strengthen the efforts to protect the good.
Originally this approach is not only administrative, but a promise. Such a promise that the streets, classrooms and playgrounds of the school become places where the learning process is flourishing-without any fear or neglect. In today's fast changing world, the government believes that real progress is possible only when our youngest citizens feel safe and supported every day.
The Ministry wants to develop a culture of accountability by taking both active and responsible steps. Teachers, school administrators and policy makers are being encouraged - and are also expected - that they not only implement strict security standards, but also maintain continuously.
As parents and caregivers breathe a sigh of relief, this steadfast stance to prioritize safety sends a powerful message: our students matter, and their protection comes first always.
