Pariksha Pe Charcha: Read the Key Highlights of the PM Modi's Speech

Pariksha Pe Charcha is part of the "Exam Warriors" movement led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to create a stress-free atmosphere for youngsters. It is a movement driven by Prime Minister'sMinister's measures to bring together students, parents, teachers, and the community to encourage an environment where each child's unique individuality is celebrated, motivated, and allowed to define itself completely. The Prime Minister urges everyone to put exams in the proper perspective, rather than making it a life-and-death situation punctuated by undue stress and pressure. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addresses students, their parents, and teachers in the fifth edition of the "Pariksha Pe Charcha'Charcha' event today (1st April 2022). He is addressing topics like examination pressure and related questions. Amid the anticipation ahead of the event, Prime Minister Modi said that he is "looking forward to the programme".

The Prime Minister began his speech by highlighting that the exam is just a part of our lives that we have faced many times and celebrate exams as a festival. 
The PM advised the students not to panic and should be confident about what they have studied and not worry about the parts they could not cover.
PM Modi also addressed smartphones and social media platforms as a source of distraction during online classes and advised the students should focus more on their studies. Talking about online education, he said the medium is not the problem, but the mind is. If we focus on the classes, offline or online mediums do not matter. 


 
Speaking about the National Education Policy 2020, PM Education experts from all over the nation contributed to rigorous brainstorming to finalize the NEP 2020. He expressed happiness that NEP 2020 is welcome from all corners of the country; the policy is welcome by teachers, students and experts alike.  

 
PM Modi advised the parents not to force their children's dreams and ambitions. "We should observe the students' strength, capacity, dreams, ambitions. I want to request the parents and teachers not to pressure them on anything. Every child has a special capacity and strength. You have to find it out," PM said.
PM Modi asked the students to follow their dreams. "I want to request the students to listen to their parents and teachers and accept the power and capabilities they have. You should not ignore your strength and interests and work towards them. Initially, the parents will not like it, but they will gradually understand and appreciate your talent." PM advised.

"There is no injection or formula for motivation. Instead, discover yourself better, find out what makes you happy and work on that, says PM Modi on how to stay motivated," PM Modi said.
He also talked about investigating the time they spend. "Do not compromise. Concentrate on the ultimate outcome. Make sure whatever you read, you read with full concentration. When you keep your mind calm, you will be able to gather everything you have studied in the exams."

PM Modi shares that he has seen daughters who never married and cared for their parents. He has also seen four sons not taking care of their parents. He emphasized that this mindset of prioritizing sons over daughters should be changed.
Talking about gender equality, he said, "The situation is changing, as per the latest data, more girls are getting admission in schools than boys. In most of the results, girls outshine boys.
Children have contributed the most to Swacchta Abhiyan. They have asked their parents and others to keep the surroundings and the city clean. PM Modi said that my dream of a cleaner India would not be possible without your efforts.
India's vaccination drive against COVID-19 has been a huge success. Some are afraid to acknowledge it thinking praising vaccination will lead them to praise Modi. But we have managed to vaccinate a huge population against Coronavirus. Even the students are coming forward and taking their jobs. The contribution of every Indian has made the victory against the deadly Coronavirus possible. 
PM Modi also talked about saving the environment. He said that one must avoid using single-use plastic as it is hazardous to the environment. We need to discard the use and throw policy and learn to recycle and reuse. The pro-planet approach is the need of the hour.
