Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana releases notification for 13th batch

New Delhi: The Indian Railway has released a notification for Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojna for the 13th Batch (October 2022) on its official website. The RKVY is for Indian nationals who have passed 10th or equivalent degrees from any institution recognized by the Central/State govt. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the 13th Batch starting from September 7, 2022, to September 20, 2022.

Candidates who want to undergo training must register (sign up) on the website and follow the instructions as given in the Information Bulletin and on the RKVY website from time to time.

After the completion of the course and passing an examination at the end of the training, the candidate will receive a certificate of completion and it can be downloaded from www.railkvy.indianrailways.gov.in.

It is to be noted here that after the successful completion of the course the candidates will not be offered jobs in Railways as the recruitment in Railways are done through open competitive examinations and therefore candidate cannot be given job-based on this certificate, however, this program is to enhance the skill of a person so that he can easily get a job or can start his own start-up.

Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojna is one of the skill enhancement training programs under the Ministry of Indian Railways and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.

Age Limit

Candidate must be in between 18- 35 years of age.

Education Qualification

Candidate must have passed high school examination or equivalent from an institution recognized by state/ central government.

Basic Requirement for Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojna

  • The candidate should be an Indian citizen.
  • The candidate should be medically fit to undergo training. The candidate will be required to submit a Fitness Certificate from a registered MBBS Doctor, certifying that candidate is fit to undergo training in an industrial environment and is fit with respect to visual/ hearing/ mental condition, and is not suffering from any communicable disease.
