The CM SHRI School admission deadline is August 22, with the entrance test on September 6 read on for tips, eligibility, and what's next in this friendly guide.

In Delhi, the application window of CM-SHRI School Entrance Exam 2025 is now on www.edudel.nic. The Directorate of Education has fixed the last date 22 August 2025, at 11:59 pm, so make sure that you complete your application before that time or make necessary improvements in it.

These new CM- SHRI School whose number will be 2025-26 in the academic session 33 will be made as model institutions. These are being developed under the Right to Education Act (RTE) and National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020). What sets them different? Imagine AI-powered libraries, smart classrooms with AR/VR, biometric attendance, robotics labs, and eco-friendly infrastructure. It’s education with tomorrow’s tools, available in public schools.

Already, interest is sky-high: over 50,000 applications poured in within days of opening 15,000 each for Class 6 and 7, and over 20,000 for Class 8. Officials call it an “extraordinary” response.

The admission test will be held on September 6, 2025. It’s an OMR-based, bilingual exam (Hindi and English) of 100 objective questions across five sections Hindi, English, General Awareness, Mental Ability, and Numerical Aptitude. The total duration is 150 minutes, with additional time for Children with Special Needs (CWSN). Importantly, there’s no negative marking.

Also, eligibility includes Delhi residency and current enrolment in a recognized school. There’s reservation too: at least 50% of seats go to students from government-run and aided schools, and SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer), and CWSN applicants get a 5%-mark relaxation.
