IGNOU Extends July 2024 Admission Deadline

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has again extended the deadline for new admissions to the July 2024 term. Students now have until September 30 to apply for online and distance learning (ODL) programs in all courses.

Candidates can submit their applications using the official website. Previously, the deadline had been extended to September 20.

This is the third time that the application deadline for the July session has been extended. Before September 20, the deadline was September 10. Students interested in undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate programs should apply through the appropriate online and ODL portals.

Before beginning the application process, candidates must have the following papers available: a scanned passport-sized photograph, a scanned signature (less than 100 KB), scanned copies of the appropriate educational qualification certificates, and a scanned copy of an experience certificate (optional). Furthermore, students who need to re-register for the next semester or academic year can do so using the re-registration site.

The last date has not been extended for certificate programmes of six-month duration and semester-based programmes. For the re-registration, a late fee component of Rs 200 would be applicable. The last date for re-registration has not been extended for semester-based programmes.

Seeking applicants who wish to apply for fresh admission can access the admission portal at the front page of the national website: http://www.ignou.ac.in/ or directly follow the link https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/

IGNOU offers admission to various UG, PG, Certificate, Diploma, and PG Diploma programmes in distance learning and online education mode. As per the new UGC guidelines, candidates can now study two online or offline programmes at the same time.
