India AI Impact Summit features dialogue on using artificial intelligence to transform education and skilling pathways.
The India AI Impact Summit 2026 held in New Delhi has emerged as one of the most significant global gatherings focused on artificial intelligence this year. Leaders from different countries, senior government officials, industry experts and innovators came together to discuss how AI can be used responsibly for public benefit.
Education became one of the central topics during the summit, with special sessions dedicated to understanding how artificial intelligence can reshape teaching methods and learning systems. Experts discussed how AI tools can personalise lessons, track student progress and support teachers in designing better academic strategies.
Ministers and policymakers shared their thoughts on building a national roadmap for AI in education. They emphasised that integrating technology into classrooms should not only focus on infrastructure but also on training teachers and developing relevant curriculum. Preparing students for future jobs where AI literacy is important was described as a key priority.
The summit reportedly saw participation from more than 20 heads of state, around 60 ministers and hundreds of AI experts from across the world. Such wide participation reflects how seriously nations are taking the AI revolution and its impact on society.
Overall, the discussions suggested that India is positioning itself as an important voice in shaping how AI will be governed and used in education. While challenges remain, leaders believe that with proper planning and collaboration, artificial intelligence can significantly improve learning outcomes and skill development opportunities for students across the country.
