In an important step to bridge the difference between technical education and industry requirements, the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has partnered with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). A formal compromise letter (MOU) AICTE Member Secretary (I/C) Dr. More Ramulu, and BSNL Senior General Manager Samita Luthra, Chairman of AICTE Chairman Prof. T.G. Sitharam and other senior officials of both organizations were signed in the presence.

The purpose of this cooperation is to increase the quality of technical education, in which industry specific skills will be integrated into educational courses. Focusing on emerging technologies such as 5G/6G and cyber security, this partnership attempts to equip students with the required abilities to meet the changing demands of the telecom sector.

The role of BSNL involves training students and faculty members to provide training, infrastructure and practical industry experience. This initiative also includes the development of online modules for the establishment of special training centres and the convenience of continuous learning. Through creating academic programs to industry standards, this partnership aims to create a task force that is not only technically skilled but also ready for the industry.

This strategic alliance between AICTE and BSNL is an important step towards changing India's technical education scenario. By promoting cooperation between educational institutions and industry leaders, this initiative is ready to contribute significantly to the country's goal to become a global centre for technological innovation and efficient human resources.
