AICTE Brings Global Supply

In a major step towards globalizing higher education, Blue Ocean Corporation, a Dubai based leader in logistics and supply chain training, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The partnership aims to integrate a US accredited supply chain management program into the curriculum of Indian universities, marking an important milestone in aligning Indian education with international standerds.

Under this agreement, students pursuing management, logistics and technical degrees in AICTE approved institutions will get access to the Foundations of Supply Chain Management (FOSCM) course, accredited by the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM), USA. The program focuses on industry aligned modules, practical exposure and global certification opportunity which help bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and real world business needs.

The collaboration also makes use of AICTE’s National Internship Portal, giving students a chance to work with reputed companies across logistics, procurement and trade sectors. Blue Ocean, who has already trained over half a million professionals worldwide, will provide content, certification and international mentorship to Indian learners.

Speaking about the initiative, AICTE officials said that such kind of partnerships are very important for improving employability and ensuring Indian graduates meet the international professional standard. The move is expected to strengthen India’s talent pool in supply chain management a sector that is growing rapidly due to global trade shifts and digital transformation.

For Blue Ocean Corporation, this collaboration shows its commitment towards democratizing access to global education. “We want to empower Indian students with skills which are globally recognised but locally relevant,” said a company spokesperson.

This partnership comes at a time when India’s education ecosystem is quickly evolving under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which focus on multidisciplinary learning, global exposure and industry collaboration. By bringing international programs inside Indian universities, AICTE and Blue Ocean are setting the tone for a new era one where Indian students compete confidently on world stage without even leaving their home soil.
