AICTE Releases Tentative Academic Calendar for 2024-25

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has released the academic calendar for 2024-25. The calendar has provided the last date to enrol first year students in engineering colleges.

According to the academic calendar, the last date to enrol in engineering colleges is Sept 15. The Council further stated that the last date to commence classes for first year students is Sept 15. Moreover, the last date for grant of affiliation by the university is July 31.

While AICTE has released the academic calendar, it is a tentative one, as they may extend the deadline for enrolling students, a media report claimed.

As per the academic calendar, last date for granting approval to technical institutions is June 30, 2024; while the last date for cancellation of seats for technical courses with full fee refund is September 11, 2024. Additionally, the last date for lateral entry admission to second year courses for newly admitted students is also September 15, 2024.
