Atishi Inaugurates Modern Academic Block in Delhi

On Monday, Delhi Education Minister Atishi opened a new four-story academic block and a multipurpose hall at a government school in Dilshad Garden.

Speaking alongside Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel at the event at Sant Eknath Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya, the AAP minister expressed her happiness at the new building's inauguration and emphasized the Kejriwal government's commitment to providing all children with a high-quality education.

She emphasised the challenges students used to face in the densely populated areas of Dilshad Colony, Seemapuri, and Kalandar Colony, where overcrowded classrooms and inadequate facilities hampered their learning experience.

"Previously, we had 100 students crammed into a single class, studying in makeshift tents. Today, these children are receiving education in world-class facilities," Atishi was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.

The new academic block and multipurpose hall are anticipated to greatly enhance the educational environment for students, especially those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, by offering the resources necessary for their success.
