The Indian Institute of Management, IIM Calcutta, will release the Common Admission Test, CAT, admit card on November 5, 2024. Candidates taking the exam must download their hall tickets from the official website using their login credentials: registration ID and password.
According to the official schedule, CAT 2024 will be held on November 24, 2024, in three slots. The exam will be administered in over 170 cities across the country at designated test centres. CAT score is valid for admission to 21 IIMs and other prominent MBA colleges in India.
How to download admit card

Click on CAT admit card 2024 link available.
Submit the login credentials.
CAT 2024 Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.
View and download the admission ticket.
Keep a hard copy for future reference.
Type of questions
The exam consists of three sections: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, Verbal and Reading Comprehension, and Quantitative Aptitude. This year’s CAT paper will include both multiple-choice (MCQ) and type-in-the-answer (TITA) questions, with a maximum score of 198.
CAT scores are accepted by 21 IIMs and over 1,000 other MBA institutes, including notable non-IIM schools such as FMS Delhi, SJMSoM IIT Mumbai, MDI Gurgaon, DoMS IIT Delhi, and SPJIMR Mumbai.
In 2023, 3.28 lakh candidates registered for CAT, with 2.88 lakh taking the exam. MBA exam registrations increased significantly, with CAT up by 30%, SNAP by 25%, and MAT by 18% from the previous year.
