IIM Calcutta has opened the CAT 2024 application correction window from September 27 to 30, allowing candidates to edit photos, signatures, and city preferences
On September 27, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta started an application correction window for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024. Candidates can make modifications to their application form by going to the IIM CAT official website and logging onto their dashboard.
Candidates can only change the photo, signature, and exam city options in their application. “Edit window for updating only the photograph, signature, and city preferences, if required by the candidate, will be available from September 27 (10.00 AM) to September 30 (5.00 PM), 2024, for those who have submitted their application forms successfully,” according to the official notification.
The CAT 2024 registration process concluded on September 13. The exam admit cards are expected to be distributed on November 5. IIM Calcutta will administer the test in 170 places on November 24.

Step 4: Pay the required fee and submit
Step 5: Review your application form and download the copy for future use.
The CAT 2024 exam will be held for 120 minutes. The paper will consist of three sections including Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability. Candidates get 40 minutes for each section and will not be allowed to switch from one section to another while attempting questions in a section.
According to the regulatory standards, 15 percent of the seats are set aside for candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC). Approximately 7.5 percent of the seats are allocated for applicants from Scheduled Tribes (ST), and 27 percent are for candidates from Other Backward Classes or those from the “non-creamy” layer (NC-OBC). For candidates from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), up to 10 percent of the seats are set aside.
