The Common Admission Test (CAT) registration period for admission to IIMs and other MBA institutions in India will end on March 31, 2024, according to the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta. Applicants who satisfy the conditions can use iimcat.ac.in to complete the CAT application form 2024 online by September 13 at 5 PM.
Three sessions of the CAT test will be held at the IIM Calcutta on November 24, 2024. The CAT test is administered annually to applicants for admission to the doctoral and postgraduate programs provided by IIMs. Additionally, CAT scores are required for management courses offered by non-IIMs.
CAT 2024: Important Dates
Applicants with a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 50 per cent of the marks or an equivalent CGPA (45 per cent for applicants from SC, ST, or PWD categories) are eligible to apply for CAT 2024.
Step 1. Go to iimcat.ac.in, the official website.
Step 2. On “new registration,” click.
Step 3. Provide your name, email address, nationality, date of birth and phone number.
Step 4. After completing the CAPTCHA code, use the obtained OTP to confirm your registration.
Step 5. To finish the form, log in with the CAT ID that was sent via email.
Step 6. Add your academic and personal information.
Step 7. Add a scanned copy of your signature and a current passport-sized photo.
Step 8. Select your top test cities, courses, and IIMs.
Step 9. Use net banking or a credit/debit card to pay the CAT application fee.
Step 10. Now, review the application form and save the form for later use.
To complete the CAT form 2024, aspirants in the general category must pay Rs 2,500, while reserved category applicants and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) must pay Rs 1,250 online.
