CAT 2025 Admits Nearly Three-Lakh Candidates Mark Calendar Now

IIM Kozhikode confirms CAT 2025 admit cards out November 12 exam on November 30 in three sessions.

The CAT 2025 (Common Admission Test) is quickly approaching, and with it comes some key dates to lock in: the organising body Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode) has announced that admit cards will be released on November 12 and the exam will be held on November 30 across three sessions. 

This year’s candidate count is hovering around 2.95 lakh, slightly up from last year’s 2.93 lakh. That includes over a lakh female test-takers and a few transgender candidates too. With students from across India in the fray, the pressure is real and so is the window to prepare for it.

Here’s what candidates should know:

⦁     Admit cards can be downloaded from the official site (iimcat.ac.in) using your login credentials. 
⦁     The exam will test three sections: Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Quantitative Ability (QA), and Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR). 
⦁    There will be a mock test released from November 12, giving test-takers a chance to familiarise themselves with the interface and format. 
⦁     The list of non-IIM institutes that accept CAT scores is available for candidates aiming beyond the IIMs. 

For many MBA aspirants, this is a critical moment. The months of late nights, drills, mock tests and anxiety now funnel toward a single day. With the pattern and format clear, what separates the pack is how well one executes under timed conditions, manages pressure, and stays composed.

Some helpful tips:

⦁     Download and print your admit card as soon as it’s live, check details for any errors (name, photo, exam city, session).
⦁     Use the mock test to test your system, understand the navigation.
⦁     Revisit your strongest sections, but also patch up any weaker ones.
⦁     On the day, plan to arrive at the centre ahead of time, carry mandated documents, and maintain your health and focus.
