The CAT 2025 results have been officially announced, bringing relief and excitement to thousands of MBA aspirants across India. Candidates can now download their scorecards from the official website of the exam conducting authority. The Common Admission Test is the primary gateway for admission to the Indian Institutes of Management and several leading business schools, making the declaration of results a highly anticipated moment for management aspirants.

The examination was conducted by IIM Kozhikode on November 30, 2025. This year, more than 2.58 lakh candidates appeared for the test, reflecting the growing interest in management education across the country. The exam followed a structured timeline, with the provisional answer key released earlier in December. After reviewing objections raised by candidates, the final answer key was published before the result announcement.

Applicants can log in using their registered credentials to access and download their scorecards. The scorecard provides detailed information including sectional scores, overall score, and percentile ranking. These details play a crucial role in the MBA admission process, as institutes use them to shortlist candidates for the next rounds such as written ability tests, group discussions, and personal interviews.

The result announcement has generated mixed emotions among candidates. While many are celebrating strong performances and high percentiles, others are carefully evaluating their options based on their scores. This year’s results have once again highlighted the intense competition, with a small number of candidates securing top percentile positions through consistent preparation and strong exam strategy.

For those who may not have achieved their desired score, education experts recommend exploring alternative management institutes that also accept CAT scores. Apart from the IIMs, numerous reputed colleges consider CAT performance for admission into postgraduate management programmes. A balanced score combined with strong academic background and interview performance can still open valuable opportunities.
