The dates for the practical examinations for the 2025 board exams for classes 10 and 12 have been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The official announcement states that the CBSE practical exams for both classes will resume on January 1, 2025.
On February 15, 2025, the CBSE class 10 and class 12 theoretical examinations are set to begin.
"The Practical Examinations/ IA for class X and XIl and the Board's Annual Theory Examinations are scheduled to start w.e.f. 01/01/2025 and 15/02/2025 respectively," according to the official announcement.
It has been observed that schools sometimes make mistakes while uploading the marks in respect of Practical/Project/internal assessment.
Further, to aid and assist the schools in the smooth conduct of practical/project/internal assessment and conduct of theoretical examinations, a list of subjects for classes 10 and 12 containing the following details is attached with this circular for information:
NOTE: "Maximum marks allotted to each subject are 100 with marks distribution among theory, practical, project and IA components as per the details given in the list," it adds.
For CBSE winter-bound schools, the practical exams for the CBSE Board 2025 will take place between November 5 and December 5, 2024. The board has also issued SOPs and guidelines for conducting the Practical Examination, Project, and Internal Assessments in these schools, which will remain closed during January 2025.
