CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 declared for over 18 lakh students across official websites online.

CBSE 12th Result 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Class 12 board examination result 2026 today, May 13. Students can now check and download their marksheets from the official websites and digital platforms.

This year, the overall pass percentage in CBSE Class 12 exams stands at 85.20 percent. According to the board, more than 17 lakh students appeared for the examination across the country.

Pass Percentage Sees Decline This Year

CBSE data shows that 17,80,365 students registered for the Class 12 examination in 2026. Out of these, 17,68,968 students appeared and 15,07,109 successfully passed the exam.

Compared to last year, the overall pass percentage has dropped by 3.19 percentage points. In 2025, the pass percentage was recorded at 88.39 percent.

• Overall pass percentage: 85.20%
• Girls performed better than boys by 6.73%
• Trivandrum region recorded the highest pass percentage at 95.62%
• Prayagraj region recorded the lowest pass percentage at 72.43%

How to Download CBSE Class 12 Marksheet

• Visit the official result website
• Click on “Senior Secondary School Examination (Class XII) 2026”
• Enter roll number, school number, admit card ID and date of birth
• Click on submit
• The marksheet will appear on the screen
• Download and save it for future reference
