CBSE will use On-Screen Marking system this year for Class 12 answer sheet checking.

CBSE Class 12 Result 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education is likely to release the CBSE Class 12 board result 2026 very soon on its official website cbseresults.nic.in. Looking at the result pattern of the last few years, students can expect the result either by the end of April or during the first half of May.

This year, CBSE has made a major change in the checking process by introducing the On-Screen Marking system for Class 12 answer sheets. Under this digital method, teachers will check answer copies online, which is expected to make the evaluation process faster and more transparent.

Because of this new system, there is a possibility that CBSE may complete checking earlier than usual and announce the result sooner.

CBSE Class 12 Result Dates of Last Five Years

• 2025 – May 13
• 2024 – May 13
• 2023 – May 12
• 2022 – July 22
• 2021 – July 30

The trend clearly shows that for the last three years, CBSE has declared Class 12 results around May 12 or May 13. This is why students are expecting a similar timeline this year as well, although the new digital evaluation may slightly speed up the process.
