CBSE Geography Board Exam

Thousands of students across the country appeared for the CBSE Class 12 Geography board examination today. The exam began at 10:30 AM and continued until 1:30 PM, giving students three full hours to attempt the paper. For many candidates, this day carried a mix of nervousness and hope.

Students were instructed to reach their examination centres well before time to avoid any last minute confusion. As per board rules, a 15 minute reading period was provided before writing started. During this time, students carefully read the question paper and planned their answering strategy.

Parents were seen outside exam centres offering encouragement and reassurance. Some students were revising map based questions and key concepts till the very last moment. Geography includes both physical and human geography sections, and map work remains an important scoring component.

Strict entry rules were followed at most centres. Students were required to carry their admit cards and valid identification. Those arriving late were not permitted to enter after the cut off time, which created extra pressure for some.

Reports from different cities suggested that arrangements were smooth and well organised. However, the usual exam tension was clearly visible on faces. Teachers had been advising students to focus on time management and neat presentation, which are crucial in board exams.

The CBSE board exams started earlier in February and will continue in coming weeks. Geography is considered a scoring subject if preparation is thorough, and many students were hopeful of performing well.

After the exam, discussions about paper difficulty and answer accuracy started almost immediately among students. Many now wait for detailed analysis and expert feedback to evaluate their performance. For students, this is not just another paper but an important step toward future academic plans.
