CBSE Releases 2024 Supplementary Exam Date Sheet

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the provisional date sheet for the supplementary exams for Class X and Class XII. The CBSE supplementary exams for 2024 are set to begin on July 15.

CBSE previously directed all CBSE schools to submit a List of Candidates (LOC) via the Pariksha Sangam portal for the 2024 supplementary assessment. Students whose names are submitted online will be eligible to take the supplementary exams. The final schedule for the 2024 CBSE supplementary exams will be announced after the LOC submission deadline.

As per the provisional date sheet, the Class X supplementary exams will conclude on July 22, while the Class XII supplementary exam will be conducted on a single day, July 15. Both the Class X and XII supplementary exams will be based on the syllabus outlined for the 2023-24 board examinations.

The CBSE Class X supplementary exams will commence with the Social Sciences paper on July 15, followed by Hindi courses A and B on July 16, and Science on July 18. The Mathematics exams—standard and basic—will be held on July 19, and the English exams—communicative and language and literature—on July 20. The exams will conclude on July 22 with language papers, including Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Manipuri, and Bodo, as well as Computer Application and Information Technology papers. Most Class XII papers will also be held from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

All Class X papers, except for Computer Application and Information Technology, will be conducted from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The Computer Application and Information Technology exams will have a duration of two hours, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.

The pass percentage in CBSE result 2024 has been recorded as 93.60 per cent for CBSE Class X and 87.98 per cent for Class XII.
