Central Bank of India Opens Applications for 4500 Apprentice Posts

The Central Bank of India has officially begun the recruitment process for 4,500 apprentice positions across its branches nationwide. Interested candidates with a graduate degree from a recognized university can apply online through the bank’s official website. The registration window will remain open until June 23, 2025, and candidates must complete the application fee payment by June 25. The bank has set the tentative date for the online examination in the first week of July 2025, marking a significant opportunity for job seekers aiming to start their career in banking.

To be eligible, applicants must be between 20 and 28 years old as of May 31, 2025, and should be registered on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal. The apprenticeship tenure will last for 12 months, during which candidates will receive training and gain hands-on experience. The recruitment process involves an online test conducted by the BFSI Sector Skill Council, followed by a local language proficiency test relevant to the candidate’s state. This ensures that selected candidates can effectively communicate within the regional context of their postings.

Application fees vary by category, with persons with disabilities required to pay Rs 400, SC/ST, women, and EWS candidates Rs 600, and all other applicants Rs 800, plus applicable GST. Fees must be paid online and are non-refundable. The bank will release a provisional list of shortlisted candidates on both its official website and the BFSI SSC portal. Prospective applicants are encouraged to thoroughly review the official notification before applying to ensure compliance with all criteria and deadlines.
