Ministry of Education invites applications for MNNIT Allahabad Director post, offering leadership in technical education.

The Ministry of Education has opened applications for the post of Director at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), Allahabad, one of the country’s leading technical institutions. Recognized as an Institute of National Importance under the NITSER Act, 2007, MNNIT plays a crucial role in advancing engineering education and research, making this a highly prestigious leadership opportunity.

According to the information, candidates have Ph.D. Should be the degree, as well as first -class degree at graduate and postgraduate level in engineering or technology. In cases where Ph.D. Straight BE/B.Tech. After that, it is mandatory for the candidate to get first class at the graduation. Additionally, applicants should have at least 15 years of experience in teaching, research or industry, with minimum 10 years of professor or equivalent post. The maximum age limit for eligibility has been fixed at 65 years till the last date of application.

For this post, a fixed monthly salary of ₹ 2,10,000 will be available, along with special allowance of ₹ 11,250 and other approved benefits will also be provided. Applications will be accepted only online and this process will run from 1 September to 30 September 2025. Candidates will be mandatory for the candidates to upload scan copies of their academic degrees and the NOC received from the current employer. The last date for uploading no-objection certificate is 15 October 2025. Officials have clarified that once the application is submitted, no amendment of it will be possible and incomplete applications will be rejected without consideration.

The final selection will be made from a panel of names recommended by a statutory committee in line with the provisions of the NITSER Act. The appointment of a new Director is expected to provide strong academic and administrative leadership, helping MNNIT Allahabad continue its legacy of excellence in higher education and innovation.
