Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati, also known as Parthasarathy, was arrested after being on run for nearly 50 days. During his time evading authorities, Saraswati reportedly changed hideouts many times and flaunted connections with Prime Minister’s Office and claimed ties to BRICS, maybe to gain credibility or manipulate situations.

Upon his arrest in Agra, police recovered fake visiting cards from Saraswati, one falsely claiming he was Permanent Ambassador to United Nations and another listing him as member of BRICS Joint Commission and Special Envoy of India. These fraudulent credentials raised serious concerns about his misrepresentation and how far his alleged deceit goes.
