National testing agency opens CUET PG 2026 applications for postgraduate admissions all you must know. 

The registration window for CUET PG 2026 has officially opened, marking the start of the nationwide application process for postgraduate admissions through one of India’s most important entrance exams. Organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET PG) invites graduates and final-year degree holders to apply for entry into master’s programmes across Central, State, private, and deemed universities for the 2026-27 academic session. 

Students keen on pursuing postgraduate studies in fields ranging from arts and sciences to commerce, management, and other specialised disciplines can now submit their applications online via the official portal accessible through exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg and nta.ac.in. The registration period opened on December 14, 2025, and will continue until January 14, 2026, giving applicants a month to complete and submit their forms. 

One of the key aspects aspirants must be mindful of is the application correction window, which is scheduled from January 18 to 20, 2026. This period allows candidates to review and modify details in their submitted forms, offering a valuable chance to fix errors before final submission. 

Once the application process concludes, students can expect the CUET PG examination to be held in March 2026. The test is conducted in a computer-based format and evaluates candidates on subject-specific knowledge along with general aptitude and reasoning skills. While detailed subject-wise syllabus and exam pattern guidance are available, the structure typically revolves around multiple-choice questions (MCQs) tailored to chosen postgraduate disciplines. 

Qualifying CUET PG opens doors to a wide range of programmes including MA, MSc, MCom, MBA, MCA, MTech, and more, making it a gateway for bright students to secure seats in reputed universities nationwide.
