The NTA had on July 7 released the provisional answer key of CUET UG 2024, in which the agency mentioned that it would conduct a retest for CUET UG candidates between July 15 and 19 if any grievance raised by students about the conduct of the exam was found to be correct.
Admit cards
"The admit cards for all affected candidates will be released soon. The candidates concerned are requested to download their hall tickets using their application number and date of birth from the website: https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/," the NTA stated in its notice.
As per the notice, the re-examination for affected candidates will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The official notice reads, "The grievances received from candidates up to 30 June 2024, regarding the CUET (UG) – 2024 examination, as well as the complaints sent to rescuetug@nta.ac.in between 07 July and 09 July 2024 (before 05:00 P.M.), have been reviewed."
Online mode
"Based on these grievances, a re-examination will be conducted for those affected candidates on 19 July 2024, Friday, in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode" the notice read.
The official notice stated that information had been sent via email to all affected candidates, detailing their subject codes. It also mentioned that admit cards for these candidates would be issued soon and requested that they download their CUET (UG) – 2024 admit cards using their application number and date of birth from the website: https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG.
Following the retest on July 19, the NTA will likely release the results by July 22. The initial CUET UG exams were conducted by the NTA on May 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24, and 29 at various centres located in 379 cities, including 26 cities outside India, for approximately 1.348 million candidates. The NTA had on May 14 postponed the May 15 exam in all Delhi centres citing logistical issues. The exam was then held on May 19. Candidates were advised to review the instructions provided both on the website and in the information bulletin.
