As a courageous and fresh step, the Chief Minister of Delhi launched an internship program to empower the youth in governance, raising hopes of change throughout the city and opening the doors of new opportunities for ambitious youth. This three -month -long developed Delhi Chief Minister Internship Program is not just a learning experience, but it provides a platform to the young minds to participate directly in the functioning of the government and make a meaningful contribution in the future of the city.
As a courageous and fresh step, the Chief Minister of Delhi has given the real experience of this internship to 150 selected youth how the government works at the grassroots level. With a monthly scholarship of ₹ 20,000, this program not only rewards efforts, but also respects the energy and time of the youth.
Its structure to make this internship special. The journey starts with an online application, then a boot camp and practical fieldwork. The intern will visit all 70 assembly constituencies, look at the problems directly and work on their practical solutions. From training modules to direct experience of community issues, participants will know how policies are made and how to apply. In the final stages, interns will draft policy suggestions on major sectors such as education, health, environment and public services. Two of these best proposals will be presented to the Chief Minister - which will be a golden opportunity to influence policy making for young voices.
By launching this internship, the government is not only giving experience, but is building a new generation of conscious and responsible citizens. As soon as Delhi CM starts this internship to empower youth in governance, a clear message has been given: the future of governance is of the youth and it starts now.
This initiative is a step towards converting idealism into influence, where ideas raised in class may soon become a reality of boardrooms and policy documents.
