Delhi government will offer free DTC bus travel to NEET UG 2026 candidates on June 21.
The Delhi Government has announced free travel facilities for students appearing in the NEET UG 2026 examination scheduled on June 21. Candidates will be allowed to travel free in all DTC buses by showing their valid NEET UG admit card.
The announcement was made by Delhi Minister Rekha Gupta through a post on X. She said the initiative aims to help students reach their examination centres without facing travel-related problems on such an important day.
The decision is expected to benefit thousands of students and parents across Delhi, especially candidates travelling long distances for the medical entrance examination. The free bus facility is likely to reduce stress and help students arrive at their centres on time.
The Delhi Government also extended best wishes to all NEET aspirants appearing for the exam. NEET UG is one of India’s biggest medical entrance tests conducted for admission to undergraduate medical and allied courses.
Earlier, Bhagwant Mann had announced a similar facility in Punjab. Under that initiative, Punjab Roadways buses will provide free travel to NEET candidates from June 20 to June 22 after showing their admit cards.
Several state governments are now introducing student-friendly measures to support candidates appearing in national-level entrance examinations.
