Delhi University PG Admissions 2026 Started Check Eligibility And Deadline

The University of Delhi  has started the admission process for its postgraduate programmes for the academic session 2026–27. Interested candidates can apply online through the official portal pgadmission.uod.ac.in. The last date to submit applications is June 7, 2026.

The admission process is being conducted under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Under this system, DU will offer both one-year and two-year master’s degree programmes.

Two-Year and One-Year PG Courses

DU has clarified that:

  • Two-year PG programmes are open to candidates from any recognised university who have appeared for CUET PG 2026
  • One-year PG programmes are only for DU students who complete a four-year undergraduate degree under NEP guidelines
  • The application process for one-year courses will begin separately at a later stage.

Eligibility for Two-Year PG Courses

Students currently in the third or fourth year of graduation can apply if they:

  • Meet the required eligibility for the course
  • Have appeared in the relevant CUET PG 2026 exam
  • Fulfil conditions mentioned in the PG Bulletin 2026–27
  • Admissions will be based on CUET PG 2026 scores through DU’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-PG).

Application Fee Details

The application fee is non-refundable and charged per programme:

  • SC/ST/PwBD candidates: ₹100 per programme
  • UR/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates: ₹250 per programme

New Digital Feature Introduced

This year, DU has introduced an auto-integration system using DigiLocker and API Setu to simplify the application process. It will automatically fetch candidate details such as name, date of birth, category, gender, parents’ names and CUET PG scores.

The university said this feature will reduce manual errors and improve data accuracy.

DU will announce the detailed schedule for one-year PG programmes separately. Students are advised to apply within the deadline and keep checking the official website for updates.
