Delhi University Releases First PG Seat Allotment List for 2025 Admissions

Delhi University has officially released the first seat allotment list for postgraduate admissions 2025 based on CUET PG scores and candidate preferences. The allotment process began on June 17, and the list was made available on the university’s admission portal, pgadmission.uod.ac.in, at 5 PM. Candidates who have been allotted seats must confirm their acceptance online by 4:59 PM on June 20, 2025. Following seat acceptance, the final date to pay the admission fee is June 22. Document verification by colleges and departments is scheduled from June 17 to June 21.

To check their results, candidates need to log in with their application number and date of birth on the DU PG admission portal. After logging in, students will see options to either freeze their current allotment or apply for an upgrade. However, if a candidate has received their first preference, they will not be eligible for future upgrades. The university has also introduced a supernumerary quota for single girl children in each PG programme, under which 1,131 students have applied so far.

The second round of seat allotment will be released on June 24, followed by a mid-entry window from July 2 to 4, and a third round on July 8, which will cover quotas such as CW (Children of War Widows), sports, and performance-based categories. Required documents for admission include CUET PG admit card, Class 10 and 12 certificates, undergraduate degree, valid ID proof, passport-size photos, and reservation certificates (if applicable). With the introduction of new quotas and a CUET-based transparent admission system, DU aims to ensure equitable and merit-driven admissions for the 2025–26 academic session.
