The Minister congratulated the recipients of the awards for their passion towards enriching students' lives and innovative efforts in making learning more vibrant.

He expressed confidence that NIEPA will accelerate the implementation of NEP 2020 at the grassroots level and build capacities of school administrators.

Sharphan encouraged all to work together with a sense of mission and purpose to transform Amrit Peedhi into global citizens and realize the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047.

He highlighted the need for leadership, innovation, and good practices in the Indian education system, which has 10 million teachers and 260 million students.

He also highlighted the important roles that education administrators play, as they have the responsibility of handling human resources and must impose a code of conduct on themselves for successful implementation of their innovative practices.

NIEPA launched the National Award for Innovations & Good Practices in Educational Administration in 2014 to encourage innovations and good practices in educational administration at the grass-root level.

Selected officers are presented with awards/certificates of appreciation and attend a two-day national conference on innovations and good practices in educational administration.
