The University of Delhi has released the second round of the seat allocation list on du.ac.in. Students assigned seats in the second round must confirm their allotment by August 27, and the respective colleges will accept admissions by August 29. Students must pay the admission fee by August 30. The varsity has said in its official notice that only candidates who make the payment can opt for “Upgrade” for the subsequent round.
While 24,869 new allocations were done in round 2, as many as 27,554 candidates got a higher preference through their choice of upgrade. “As per the policy of the University, in the second round, all candidates who were rejected in Round-I due to invalid certificate / document have been reconsidered in the UR category as per their merit and preference, subject to the availability of seats,” reads the official notice by DU.
DU had earlier released a list of 6,100 vacant seats for the second round of undergraduate admissions. As many as 65,843 seats, or 91.98 percent of seats, were filled in the first round of counselling. DU allotted 97,387 seats, with 52,838 seats going to girl students and 44,549 to male students. This year, 2,45,287 students registered through the DU CSAS portal. Meanwhile, DU offers a total of 71,600 seats for UG courses.
DU UG CSAS Admission 2024 Round 2 Seat Allocation List: Steps to Check
Step 1: Head to the official website of Delhi University at admission.uod.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the Login tab and key in the required details.
Step 3: After logging in, look for the Round 2 Seat allocation link and click on it.
Step 4: The DU UG CSAS Round 2 Seat allocation list will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Download and save the seat allotment result for future reference.
Delhi University will declare the allocations to Performance-based programmes and Supernumerary quotas of CW, ECA, Sports, and Ward in the third round of allocations. The schedule for the third round will be declared soon, it has said.
