SSC Exams in August 2025: SSC CGL 2025 exam will be held between August 13 and August 30. Candidates will be able to download their admit card from SSC website.

If you are preparing for a government job, this news is important for you. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the dates for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier-1 Examination 2025. The exam will be held from 13 August to 30 August 2025.

The admit card will be available on the official SSC website ssc.gov.in three to four days before the exam. Candidates will be able to download it using their registration number and password. Without the admit card and a valid photo ID, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

Tier-1 exam pattern
The SSC CGL Tier-1 examination will consist of a total of 100 multiple-choice questions, divided into four sections:

General Intelligence and Reasoning
General Awareness
Quantitative Aptitude
English Comprehension

The total marks for the exam will be 200, and candidates will have 1 hour to complete it. There will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer. Except for the English section, all other sections will be available in both Hindi and English.

Number of vacancies
According to the notification issued by SSC, a total of 14,582 posts will be filled through the CGL 2025 examination. Out of these:

Unreserved (UR) category – 6,183 posts

• OBC category – 3,721 posts
• SC category – 2,167 posts
• ST category – 1,088 posts
• EWS category – 1,423 posts

2. Click on the CGL Admit Card link
3. Enter your login details
4. Download the admit card and take a printout
