The Sonipat project would cost Rs 59.73 crore in total. According to Banerjee, the Jhajjar campus would be the country's first institution for Patient-Specific Drug Development for cancer therapy.
IIT Delhi is also expanding its international presence by establishing a campus in Abu Dhabi, which will begin programs in January 2024.
