Delhi University (DU) will organize Tiranga rally next week to celebrate 75 years of India's independence under the 'Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan'.

New Delhi: The Delhi University (DU) on Friday said it will organize a Tiranga rally next week to celebrate 75 years of India's independence under the 'Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan'. The rally will happen on August 10 and will cover a distance of four kilometers. The rally will see the participation of teaching and non-teaching staff and students of the university, it said.

"A Tiranga Yatra will be organized by the University of Delhi on August 10 under the 'Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan'. The historic yatra will be led by Delhi University Vice-Chancellor Professor Yogesh Singh. All officials and teaching staff of the university will participate in this Tiranga Yatra," the university said.

Meanwhile, the central government is preparing energetically for the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan’ on the 75th anniversary of India’s independence under the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’. ‘Tiranga’ will be hoisted at every house from August 13 to August 15 in all the states. However, from now on, Tiranga Yatra is being taken out in different parts of the country.
