IIT Bombay, in collaboration with Jaro Education, introduces a two-year Executive MBA for professionals, offering hybrid learning, financial support, and flexib

IIT Bombay has partnered with edtech company Jaro Education to launch a two-year Executive BA programme. The program combines academic knowledge with practical insights to prepare professionals for the global economy. Participants will engage in activities like case studies, interactive seminars, and group discussions to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

The hybrid learning model combines online classes with in-person sessions, making it ideal for working professionals aiming to advance their education while continuing their careers.

The IIT Bombay Executive MBA programme costs Rs 15 lakh, including taxes, and offers financial support through educational loans from leading banks. Students can complete the course within two years or extend it up to five years, with payment options like yearly or module-based plans.

The programme provides an enriching learning experience with on-campus sessions, peer interaction, and engaging discussions, and graduates join the exclusive IIT Bombay alumni network.

• Structure: 8 modules, 31 courses (16 core + 15 electives), plus a capstone and group project.
• On-Campus Sessions: Enhance learning through collaboration and interactive activities.

Eligibility criteria

The programme welcomes professionals, middle managers, and executives. Candidates need:

• A Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ST/PwD).
• A minimum of three years of work experience in any business organisation after graduation.
• A valid score in CAT, GMAT, or GRE, taken no earlier than June 2019 (for the academic year 2024-25).
• Applicants must also pass the IMAT (IIT Mumbai Admission Test), modelled on the CAT pattern.

Key Dates

• IMAT exam date: December 22, 2024.
• The Application deadline is December 20, 2024.

The programme begins on January 10, 2025.
