On April 10, the 13th annual convocation ceremony of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur was held to honour the academic accomplishments and accolades of its graduating students. The following recipients of degrees and prizes were given out: 298 Post Graduate Programme graduates, 184 E-PGP graduates, 11 Fellow and Executive Fellow Programme in Management graduates, and 22 student exchange graduates.
The event took place on the institute's Naya Raipur campus.
Gold medals were also given out by IIM Raipur for academic achievement. Among the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) students, Arjun Vansil was awarded the medal for outstanding overall performance, Revant Madhur Agrawal was given the PGP Chairperson's medal, Tanvi Bagora was given the Director's Gold Medal, and Mahalakshmi Shanmugam was given the BOG Chairperson's Gold Medal.
For their academic achievements, Prachi Dikshit, Isha Bhatia, and Nagesh Madhwal, students in the Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP B2), were awarded the BOG Chairperson's Gold Medal, the Director's Gold Medal, and the EPGP Chairperson's Gold Medal, respectively.
At the first "Matr, Pitr, and Guru Pujan," an IIM Raipur tradition of thanksgiving ceremony, students conveyed their appreciation to their parents and instructors. On the morning of the convocation day, this was planned.
G V Prasad, co-chairman and managing director of Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, who gave the convocation speech, was the ceremony's chief guest. The Chairperson of the Board of Governors, Puneet Dalmia, and the Director of IIM Raipur, Prof. Ram Kumar Kakani, were present during the event.
