IIT Madras will host the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2024, offering admission to various postgraduate programs.
IIT Madras to Conduct JAM 2024: Registration Dates Announced

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT- M) will host the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) in 2024. Candidates interested in applying can do so online at jam.iitm.ac.in.

JAM 2024 will be held in over 100 cities across India as a computer-based test with seven test papers covering Biotechnology, Chemistry, Economics, Geology, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, and Physics. There is no upper age limit. Foreign nationals holding Indian degrees are eligible to apply, subject to the admissions Institute's policy.

Registration will commence on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, and will close on Friday, October 13, 2023. The examinations are set to commence on February 11, 2024.

Candidates on the merit list are eligible for admission to around 3,000 seats in various postgraduate programs at IITs, as well as over 2,000 seats at IISc and NITs, IIEST Shibpur, SLIET, and DIAT via CCMN. Admission will be available for Master's programs such as MSc (Tech), Dual Degree, MSc (Research), Joint MSc-PhD, and MSc-PhD Dual Degree at a variety of institutes. The JAM 2024 result is only valid for one year. Candidates must take JAM 2024 to be considered for admission to the Master's program for the academic year 2024 - 25.
