The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIU) is now accepting PhD applications for the winter term. The deadline for application submissions is November 30. The PhD Entrance Test (PET) is scheduled for December 22. Interested and qualified applicants can apply by visiting the official website. Candidates who have passed national-level examinations similar to the PET are not required to take the test. Full-time researchers will be eligible for research fellowship awards.

Eligibility criteria
Admission will be based on the PhD admission test (PET) and an interview procedure.
Candidates who have passed the UGC-NET, UGC-CSIR NET, GATE, CEED, or other similar national-level examinations will not be required to take the university's PhD admission exam.
Admission will also be based on NET scores as per UGC norms.
The final number of available PhD slots for the Winter session of the 2024-25 academic year will be revealed on the university's website prior to the PhD entrance examination.
