The Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination Council (JEECUP) has officially launched the counselling process for admissions to diploma-level polytechnic courses for the 2025 academic session. Starting from June 27, eligible candidates can register and fill out their preferred college and course choices online at jeecup.admissions.nic.in. The deadline for both registration and choice locking is July 2, after which no modifications will be allowed. This marks the beginning of the first round of counselling aimed at streamlining the admission process across polytechnic institutes in the state.
According to the official schedule, the seat allotment for the first round will be announced on July 3, based on the preferences submitted by the candidates. Those allotted a seat must pay a seat acceptance fee of ₹3,000. Following payment, candidates are required to report to their allotted institute for offline document verification. Essential documents include the JEECUP admit card and rank card, academic mark sheets of Class 10 or 12, a character certificate, domicile proof, and applicable reservation documents. Additionally, two passport-size photographs and photocopies of all original certificates must be presented during the verification process.
The counselling process is structured into seven rounds, offering multiple chances for candidates to secure admission. However, authorities have warned that failure to report for verification within the given timeline may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat. Aspirants are strongly advised to check the official website regularly for updates on each phase, including seat allotment results and reporting instructions. The JEECUP Counselling 2025 initiative is designed to promote transparency, efficiency, and equal opportunity in the admission process for technical education in Uttar Pradesh.
