CUET UG gains prominence in Maharashtra as ten top universities, including Datta Meghe Institute and Narsee Monjee, adopt the common entrance test for undergrad
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG is being taken by ten colleges, universities, and other institutions from Maharashtra. Three of the ten have been listed among the top universities in the National Institutional Ranking Framework 2023.

Datta Meghe Institute Of Higher Education And Research is the top university in Maharashtra. It received an overall ranking of 75 and an NIRF rank of 39th in the university rankings. Under CUET UG, the deemed-to-be university offers more than 100 courses.
The Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies at SVKM, Maharashtra, is the second-place university in the state. In the NIRF 2023 universities list, the university came in at number 47, ranking 88th overall. Over fifty courses under CUET UG are offered by the designated university.
