NCERT’s Textbooks Now on Amazon

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has widened access to textbooks for students from kindergarten to class XII, as well as for UPSC applicants, by partnering with Amazon India.

The essential books are now easily ordered online by students and delivered right to their home. The goal of this partnership is to meet the educational needs of students by guaranteeing that all operable pin codes have access to up-to-date, accurate textbooks.

The partnership is formalised through a Letter of Engagement (LoE), that guarantees that the NCERT books will be available at Maximum Retail Price (MRP) across all serviceable pin codes in India, ensuring that students have access to genuine learning materials and resources.

Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Education said, “Quality education and ease of living are essential for building a strong and developed nation. This collaboration between NCERT and Amazon India is a step towards ensuring that students and educators have access to genuine, affordable resources that will not only help them in their academic journey but also enhance their overall quality of life. By making NCERT textbooks available through the Amazon website, we are enabling millions of students across India to pursue their education without barriers and with greater convenience.”

To further support this initiative, a dedicated NCERT bookstore has been set up on the Amazon website, offering the full range of textbooks at one accessible location at no additional costs. The NCERT has partnered with Amazon to ensure that quality educational resources are within reach for millions of learners nationwide.
