The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the NEET-UG 2025 results, revealing the names of this year’s top medical aspirants. Leading the merit list is Mahesh Kumar from Rajasthan, who secured the All India Rank (AIR) 1. Following him is Utkarsh Awadhiya from Madhya Pradesh at AIR 2, while Delhi’s Avika Aggarwal emerged as the highest-ranking female candidate, securing AIR 5. Over 12.36 lakh students have qualified the examination this year, highlighting the fierce competition for limited medical seats in government and private colleges across India.
This year’s results reflect a wide representation of talent from different states, reinforcing the national reach of NEET-UG. The exam was conducted at hundreds of centres under strict supervision to ensure transparency and fairness. The NTA has lauded the efforts of all students and assured that the evaluation and result process was handled with complete integrity. The focus now shifts to the next stage: counselling, seat allocation, and college admissions based on individual scores, rank, and preference.
Candidates can access their scorecards by visiting the official NEET portal at neet.nta.nic.in. To check their results, students must enter their application number and date of birth. It is advised to download and securely save the scorecard for use during counselling rounds. With the declaration of results, aspiring doctors are now a step closer to fulfilling their dreams, as institutions across the country prepare for the upcoming admission season.
