The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially extended the registration deadline for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2024. Candidates who have not yet submitted their application form for CMAT 2024 can do so by visiting the official website of the exam at https://exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT.
The last date to register for the exam, which was announced to be April 19 earlier, is now set for April 23. Applicants can deposit the application fees up to 11.50 pm. Moreover, the exam is slated to be conducted in May.
“In continuation to the Public Notice dated March 29, 2024, regarding submission of online application form for Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2024, NTA has decided to extend the last date for submission of online application form for CMAT 2024, enabling the aspiring candidate(s) to apply for the said exam,” reads the official notification.
Aspirants must possess a bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized institution/university. It is to be noted that candidates who are waiting for their final year results before the 2024-25 academic year admissions are also eligible to apply for CMAT 2024. The National Testing Agency has set no age limit to appear for the CMAT exam.
How to Apply
Male candidates falling under the general category are required to pay an application fee of Rs 2,000 while female candidates must pay Rs 1,000 at the time of registration. However, candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PwD, EWS, and Third-gender category must pay Rs 1,000 for the exam.
The official notification further states that incomplete/incorrect application form will be rejected. However, candidates have from April 24 to April 26 to edit/rectify the information on the form. Candidates are advised to contact the NTA helpdesk for any clarification: 011-40759000 or write to https://cmat.nta.nic.in/.
