The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 host website address has been modified by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The website jeemain.nta.ac.in is the new one.Previously, the National Informatics Centre (NIC) hosted the information on a website called jeemain.nta.nic.in. For JEE Main 2024, the NTA has since created its own platform, though.

Additionally, all JEE Main-related data, including notifications, admit cards, and results, will be made available on the newly created NTA site.

The JEE Main online application forms were previously hosted by the National Informatics Centre, or NIC. A top NTA official informed IndianExpress.com, "NTA has now developed this new platform and is in the process of using its own server for activities related to hosting the online application forms, and generating the city intimation slip, admit card, and score card, etc."

Additionally, the new website features an automated chat feature that will act as a virtual assistant for applicants. This online chat feature will be accessible to students in the lower right corner.

The JEE Main 2024 syllabus has also been trimmed by NTA in the interim. It has taken out over eight chapters of chemistry and nearly two chapters each of mathematics and physics.

This was done after the NTA received concerns from various stakeholders regarding the deletion of some elements of the existing syllabus of Paper 1 (BE / BTech) as they were not being taught in their Class 12 board.
